Learning SupportAt ICWS, we understand that the transition to university level study can be difficult for some students. To assist you to develop the study skills necessary to successfully complete your program of study, ICWS offers you a variety of different study and learning support services.

The Academic Manager, in conjunction with various teaching staff, runs a number of information sessions and workshops throughout the semester for students who want to develop their study skills in areas such as time management and examination techniques. The Academic Manager and other teaching staff are also available for individual or group appointments throughout the semester if you need assistance with assignment drafting, researching, structuring, writing and referencing.

International students who need extra help with their spoken and written English skills will also find the free English and study skills programmes offered each semester very helpful. We encourage you to participate in these programmes and to contact the friendly staff at ICWS for advice and assistance as soon as you are finding things a little difficult.
